Nokia 5.3 Gets Listed on Official India Website, Launch Imminent

  Nokia 5.3 was unveiled in March. It comes with a waterdrop-style notch and quad rear cameras.   Nokia 5.3 may launch in India soon as the device listing has now gone live on the company's official website. While HMD Global has made no hints of a new phone launch in India, the new listing on the site does offer sufficient confirmation at an imminent launch. The Nokia 5.3 was unveiled globally in March. Key features of the device include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC and a quad rear camera setup with a 13-megapixel main sensor. The device is also equipped with a large 4,000mAh battery.

Delhi HC directs DU to conduct final-year undergraduate exams from 14 Sept

  The high court on 7 August had directed the university to conduct online open-book examination (OBE) for final-year students.   The Delhi High court on Monday directed Delhi University to conduct physical examinations for final year undergraduate students from 14 September. “We are of the opinion that the University should expedite conducting physical examinations so that the entire process can be over at the earliest. Though we are informed that at least two weeks are required after the on- line examinations are over on 31.08.2020, for the University to gear up, we are of the opinion that physical examinations should commence by 08.09.2020. However, since Mr. Sachin Dutta, Senior Advocate pleads that that would be too shorter a time and there is immense pressure on the available manpower, Delhi University is directed to commence the physical examinations by 14.09.2020." Biocon chief Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw tests positive for Covid-19

   Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, chairperson and managing director of Bengaluru-based Biocon Ltd, tested positive for coronavirus on Monday. “I have added to the Covid count by testing positive. Mild symptoms n I hope it stays that way," 67-year-old Shaw posted on Twitter. The news of Shaw testing positive comes at a time when Bengaluru has seen a sharp surge in Covid-19 cases since the beginning of July. Karnataka and its growth capital, Bengaluru, are among the worst covid-19 affected regions in the country and have shown no signs of slowing down. Bengaluru reported 2,053 new cases on Monday, taking its overall tally to 91,864 cases of which 34,408 are active. Nishikant Kamat was believed to have been suffering from chronic liver disease. Filmmaker Nishikant Kamat has died in a Hyderabad hospital. Mr Kamat, 50, was believed to have been suffering from chronic liver disease. "I will miss you my friend Nishikant Kamat. Rest in peace," tweeted actor Riteish Deshmukh, who starred in Mr Kamat's film  Lai Bhaari.  Just hours before,  Mr Deshmukh had urged for restraint after some media outlets prematurely reported the filmmaker's death . Ajay Devgn, who starred in Nishikant Kamat's  Drishyam , tweeted: "My equation with Nishikant was not just about  Drishyam , a film which he directed with Tabu and me. It was an association that I cherished. He was bright; ever-smiling. He has gone too soon. RIP Nishikant."

New Zealand Prime Minister delays election over covid-19 New Zealand’s election has been delayed by four weeks, to October 17, because of concern over the spread of coronavirus in the country, Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern announced. "Clearly as a government our current priority is getting the Covid outbreak under control and removing restrictions on New Zealanders as soon as possible," Ardern said, speaking in a Facebook Live post.
